Working with cutting-edge technology, this role will allow you to play a crucial part in shaping future projects and guiding a team of Project Managers. You will manage the entire life-cycle of projects from concept to delivery in a team where you will oversee various projects within New Product Introduction. You will need to be proactive and keen to be a leader as you will have some direct reports from Project Managers. Ideally, this candidate will have a lean manufacturing background in a high-tech engineering industry, working with complex high-tech products. This company designs and manufactures cutting-edge technology that has led this industry for many years. They have a progressive New Product Introduction and an R&D department that needs a knowledgeable Program Manager. This role could suit a Project Manager with at least five years of Project management who is ready for a new challenge within a dynamic team. This role will fall under the Operations department, where you will work on various projects, from NPI to improving current legacy products. The company are open to changing current methods, and there is not much red tape, allowing you to mould the role around your skillset. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in engineering disciplines, preferably electronics, mechanical engineering, or electromechanical. This role is looking for the following:
Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent qualification.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
Experience in Project Management within high-tech products.
