Mechanical Design Engineer

Working with complex electromechanical  instrumentation this role will combine creative flair with mechanical engineering fundamentals. You will join a company who are the world leaders within their niche field with an outstanding reputation.

The product range has a scientific focus with global clients and an order book which is constantly growing. You will take ownership of a range of large design projects from concept to launch.

The company are based in Cambridge with a hybrid working policy where you need to be in the office 3 days a week. The company also has some excellent benefits and a bonus scheme.

We are looking for:

A proven mechanical engineer ideally with a mechanical engineering qualification.

At least 4 years’ experience working as a mechanical design engineer working with complex electro-mechanical products.

A good grasp of the fundamentals so FEA, 3D CAD.
