Due to planned retirement this key MIS manager role has become available and ideally will handover somewhere between April and June. You’ll manage all aspects of the education Management Information System, currently SIMS, and be able to manage the change to a new system within the year, likely iSAMS. Additionally you will aid communication across the whole school staff cohort and parent community through the effective use of MIS systems. You will have a passion for driving usage, working with SLT and all staff to maximise engagement

You’ll also be keen to implement Power BI, and experience of MySchoolPortal would be highly advantageous. You are capable of training, and auditing other software systems, to ensure efficiency and consolidation.

Your current job title might be Data Officer, Data Manager, Information Officer, Information Systems Manager etc

For non-EU citizens, a degree would be required, former teachers could be considered with a clear career pivot into data and systems.
