SQL, Risk Systems, Market Risk, Java, Cloud, Grafana, Splunk, Confluence, Scripting I am looking for an experienced application support specialist at either AVP or VP level to join my client who is a leading multinational bank based in London. You will be joining a high-performing team providing support to various entities within the bank across a variety of functions. Key Responsibilities: Offer technical assistance for the organization's Global Risk Platform across all business units. Supervise daily production batch processes. Address production incidents and fulfill user service requests promptly. Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and propose viable solutions to resolve incidents. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and test application software updates. Adhere to best practices in change control. Contribute to the implementation of new initiatives by supporting testing, performing analysis tasks, etc. Automate manual tasks and develop/enhance tools to streamline team operations. Participate in after-hours support rotation for incident escalations and runbook activities Key Skills: Supporting software platforms - risk management systems SQL/NoSQL Databases Analytical and problem-solving skills Scripting Cloud Experience supporting cloud platforms Monitoring tools
Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow etc... This is a full-time position at either AVP or VP level offering a salary of up to £90k plus a competitive bonus. You will be required to be onsite in the London office up to 3 days per week. The role with require you to work in a shift pattern and to work on-call 1 weekend per month.
