Job description

Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting for a Drivers mate for our valued client in the west of Edinburgh on an ongoing basis

Please note: This is a Sunday – Thursday role.  Sunday 0800am start. Monday – Thursday 1100am starts

Drivers Mate responsibilities include:

• Following health and safety regulations in all situations
• Helping the driver with the delivery of heavy items
• Be comfortable with heavy lifting due to the nature of the role

The successful Drivers mate can expect:

• Monday – Thursday  £10.42 PAYE
• Sunday: £15.63 PAYE
• Overtime after 8 hours: £13.89
• Holiday accrual with every shift
• Weekly pay
• 8 hours minimum guaranteed pay per day
• Ad hoc shifts – fit around other requirements

This position is commutable from Edinburgh, Leith, Dalkeith, and the surrounding areas.
