Purovets are searching for a pleasant, conscientious veterinary surgeon with a real small animal interest to join the close-knit team at a two-branch independent practice in Cambridgshire. You should have an affinity with ongoing learning, be affable, and fit in with other members of the team. The practice does general small animal work, including involved Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic surgery, as well as frequent ophthalmology referrals and BVA eye exams. They want you to be happy with CPD and will help you to organise good clinical protocols. They provide a supportive environment in which to learn sound methods and techniques.
You will be working in a spacious and well-equipped surgery, with access to ECG, 2 Slit Lamps, Pulse-Ox, 22Mhz ultrasound, multi-mode monitors/capnography, digital X-ray, Ortho/TTA kit, operating microscope, new phaco machine, ERG and much more. On-site accommodation is available.You will be working in a really pleasant part of England, the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. One branch is located in a picturesque market town, with easy access to some fantastic sightseeing opportunities. The main branch is in Peterborough city centre, with swift links to London by train and the North via the A1.
Role:
- Competitive salary dependent on experience
- Five day week, 9am - 7pm
- Flexible hours available
- 1 in 2 Saturdays; 9am - 10:30am Stamford branch, 11:30am - 1pm Peterborough branch
- Sole charge
- No OOHs
