Deputy Headteacher (Pastoral)

(Salary Range L20-L24)

Parrenthorn High School is looking to appoint a dynamic Deputy Headteacher with a focus on all elements of pastoral care. We wish to appoint an outstanding individual with a record of impactful leadership in their current role. We are a ‘good’ school and very much looking for a leader who can support us in the next stage of our journey towards excellence. The Deputy Head (Pastoral) will lead and manage the pastoral teams to provide a positive, secure and values led environment for all pupils, ensuring each pupil has a sense of achievement, belonging and worth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Heads (Pastoral and Safeguarding) to ensure outstanding levels of pastoral care and professional leadership of the pastoral teams. This will require the effective use of resources within the school, the ability to understand and motivate the different pastoral teams while striving to continually improve the attendance, standards and achievements of all pupils.

This is an exciting role and one where commitment, ideas, underpinned by research, and strategic planning will be key in delivering success.
