About the role….

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Lettings Team for the role of a Lettings Team Leader.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a customer focused service, developing service improvements, and providing key performance information to assist in service delivery.

To ensure that vacant properties are let as efficiently as possible, this requires close liaison and partnership working with other services involved in the void delivery process.

A proactive approach to lettings will be required to seek rehousing solutions that will support vulnerable customers and minimise the time a property is vacant. The postholder will be a creative self-starter and utilise any options available to ensure properties are let effectively.

The Lettings Team Leader will be responsible for the management of a small team within the lettings service and will undertake training and development to ensure that they have the appropriate competencies and behaviours to deliver work of the highest possible standard.

A comprehensive understanding of the Allocations Policy will be required, and the successful applicant will be fully competent in the use NEC.
