Role: Business Development Manager – Marine Equipment

Based: Southern England Based

Salary: Competitive basic, sales commission and pension at 4%.

ROLE – Business Development Manager – Marine Equipment:

My client is a leading distributor, across 3 specific and diverse sectors. A requirement has been made to recruit a high-quality Business Development Manager to drive sales for their Marine divisions.

The role is to drive sales of the Marine Equipment portfolio into boat builders, boat yards, technical accounts, and institutional buyers. This will be a combination of managing an existing account base, reigniting lapsed and dormant customers and opening new accounts. The role reports into a Sales Manager for Marine.

Candidate – Business Development Manager – Marine Equipment

• Proven sales history in Marine.

• Preferably strong network of contacts with Boat Yards and Boat Builders.

• It requires someone with ambition, high-energy and dynamism.

• You must be based on the South Coast, as this is where most of their customer base is located.

• The candidate must be able to sell on a price and catalogue model and be able to offer a solution based sales approach.
