Job description

An accountant with VAT experience is sought to join this FMCG business on an interim basis. Trafford Park, flexible hours, hybrid working.

You will be responsible for the robust accounting and reporting of financial information. You will be an essential part of the process in the preparation and submission of VAT returns across the European entities in the group and assisting with with advisory projects. This is a fast paced and interesting environment.

Key duties:

• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Assist with VAT registrations
• Month end close
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Forecasting of VAT return cash inflows & outflows
• Project work

You:

• Part or fully qualified
• Experienced with UK VAT, European advantageous
• Strong Excel skills
