Salary:  Grade 2, £23,890 per annum.  Approximately £18,596 per annum pro rata (0.77840 FTE)

What will you do?

• Foster positive relationships with students, serving as a role model and maintaining high expectations.
• Support students' learning effectively, meeting individual needs and fostering independence.
• Assist students with special educational needs, contributing to the development and review of individual education plans.
• Promote cooperative interaction among students, ensuring engagement in activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and curriculum, covering planned activities during teacher absence and maintaining classroom organization

What are we looking for?

• Experience working with Reception and/or Pre-school aged pupils in an educational setting, including children with additional learning needs.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills alongside familiarity with EYFS Framework and relevant curriculum strategies.
• Proficient in general clerical tasks such as photocopying and laminating, with clear communication abilities.
• Knowledgeable in child development principles, phonics teaching and monitoring pupil progress.
• Committed to professional development, teamwork, promoting child welfare, and adhering to health and safety standards.
