Job description

What you do 

As a Head of Mobility you will lead and develop the UK sales and distribution strategy for Warranty and wider ancillary insurance products.
The role will have responsibility for identifying and converting new profitable revenue opportunities; as well as developing working practices and processes to maximise profitability, efficiency, quality and productivity across our full suite products.

In this role, you will: 

• Achieve agreed annual revenue, new business and profit targets for the UK Mobility line of business
• Develop and implement the sales strategy for the UK Mobility line of business for both new business and existing accounts
• Lead and develop the UK Mobility account managers and wider field based sales team, including setting targets, objectives and development plans.
• Ensure that processes are enforced across departments to facilitate service delivery, maximise profitability and minimise leakage. 
• Consolidate stakeholder relationships from all areas of the business (locally or across borders), in particular with the global sales team, to identify and help develop new business opportunities that have a UK footprint. 
• Maintain awareness of key industry developments and trends
• Represent the BU at relevant group meetings and seminars 
• Liaise and meet regularly with Allianz Partners respective outsource agencies when required.
• Provide accurate reporting, required both internally and by clients, based on Salesforce data
• Ensure that client invoicing is up to date and liaise with finance to ensure this is pro-actively managed
• Gather detailed feedback on any unsuccessful bids and share with wider teams to understand how we can improve our propositions and activities going forward

What you bring 

• Experience leading a sales team and driving it to higher levels of performance
• Strong B2B / B2B2C sales and distribution experience within the insurance / assistance / automotive industry
• Strong commercial acumen and proficient in handling complex financial analysis
• Experience managing complex programmes simultaneously within a regulated general insurance environment
• Build and deliver presentations to multiple stakeholders including to executive level
• Experience in complex multi-stakeholder settings
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and change
