Working within a small specialised team, reporting into the Employee Relations Manager, this vital role underpins the pay and grading structure of the Council and our customers by leading on the delivery of job evaluation.
The Council operates the NJC and Hay job evaluation schemes. The post holder would be required to work closely with managers and trade union representatives to guide them through the job evaluation process when determining pay grades in relation to new posts, review of duties and restructures.
Therefore you will be responsible for managing your own workload delivering a service internally to Council managers and also to some of our important customers such as other Councils, Academies/Schools, and other organisations.
