What we do

We're committed to keeping elderly and vulnerable people living in the comfort of their own homes  in Ryton, Blaydon and surrounding areas , so our carers help with anything from everyday tasks around our customers’ homes through to complex care needs. We appreciate that every customer is different, and this is why every day will be different.

While many companies only pay Care Assistants for contact time, we believe you should be paid for every minute you work, so we pay for both your travel time AND mileage . This position is in the community and successful candidates need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.

We can’t care for our customers if we don’t take care of our team so to make this possible, we offer:

• An excellent rate of £11.50 ph, equivalent of over £12 per hour with travel time

Roles and Responsibilities as a Care Expert

• Supporting customers with all aspects of their personal care  in Ryton, Blaydon and surrounding areas
• Assisting customers with all aspects of medication
• Assisting customers with all aspects of their meal preparation
• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
• Supporting customers with home management
• Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full

We’ll ensure you have all the right training and development because we care for our Caregivers. After all, they care for our customers so it’s important that you feel equipped for the role. 

Because We Care About You 

We understand that every member of our team has their own life outside of work and this is why our role offers flexibility. We have care staff going out to our customers in Ryton, Blaydon and surrounding areas , between the hours of 7am and 10pm, so this is the outlined time for availability for the role. You can choose between full-time or part-time work. Although we try to be flexible where we can, we do require you to be flexible with us too, and this role does require you to work alternate weekends . 

We take care of our team throughout the year, whether it's your birthday, Christmas, or simply because it’s a Thursday. We’re a family and we’re here to look after you today, tomorrow and every other day after that.
