About the role
We are recruiting for two new positions at the Senior Research Officer or Research Officer level within our Climate and Sustainability Programme. We are primarily looking for candidates with expertise and experience in energy transitions, sustainable finance and environmental economics, though we will also consider strong candidates with expertise and experience in other areas related to climate diplomacy and policy.
Under the supervision of Research Fellows, you will contribute to designing and delivering innovative, high-quality and policy-relevant research, policy advice and public-affairs initiatives. You will undertake literature reviews and desk-based analysis of policies and plans; engage with policymakers, civil society organisations, multilateral agencies and businesses; and draft working papers, blogs and other outputs that present new evidence and recommendations in a clear and compelling way.
A Research Officer will typically have a Master’s and good relevant working experience or a PhD. A Senior Research Officer will typically have a Master’s and substantial relevant working experience or a PhD with valuable relevant experience.
