Job description
The post will be held in the Environmental Modelling Group in the School of Biological Science. Research within the School of Biological Sciences has a broad cross-cutting theme of understanding the fundamental biological consequences of environmental change. The Environmental Modelling Group includes 17 members of staff and many PhD students working within the group or split with other teams. The group specialises in developing modelling tools that can be used to solve environmental problems, and advise policy makers, foresters and farmers. This short-term post will complete work already started as part of the GCRF funded South Asian Nitrogen Hub, and will involve extensive networking with partners in different countries across South Asia.

Salary will be at Grade 6, £37,099 per annum. The post will last until 31 August 2024. The role requires an immediate start due to funding time limitations.
