Job description
Accept Recruitment is actively seeking Factory Operatives to join our client's team in their brand new East Midlands Factory in Coalville, LE67.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, producing timber frame panels for housebuilding in accordance with production schedules using specialist carpentry machinery.
Daily Duties:
- Operating on a semi-automated manufacturing line, producing open panel timber frame wall units.
- Rotating across various departments to gain new knowledge and skills.
- Cutting materials, inserting thermal insulation, stapling, inserting lifting straps, fitting plasterboard, and wrapping finished products for transportation.
- Adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies.
Requirements:
- Flexible approach and a willingness to learn and work within any stage of the production line.
- Ability to work independently and take instructions from supervisors to complete tasks as required.
- Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in the timber frame industry (desired).
- Competency with pneumatic hand tools, using a tape measure, and manual handling.
- Comfortable working as part of a larger team and willing to support others where required.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all panels meet quality standards.
- Natural focus on Health and Safety within the factory environment.
- Own transport needed due to location
Shifts and Pay Rate:
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 – 15:00
- £11.71 per hour
- OT £17.57(over 37.5 hours)
- Sunday £23.42ph
