Wonderful Family in Golders Green (NW London) are looking for a full-time, live-in Nanny to join their Family! This role will be starting in mid-March but the Family are flexible on start times for the right person.
The Family live a short distance from Golders Green tube station (Northern Line), close to the shops, cafes and pubs of Hampstead, and have their own gate onto Hampstead Heath. They have 3 children, G6 years, B9 years & B11. Their eldest son is autistic. He's a super special boy who is extremely affectionate & loving! He has limited language but is really happy and content. Although SEN experience is a definite plus, the Nanny does not need previous experience with special needs but must be interested in learning and keen to form a close bond with a very special boy. They are hoping to find someone fun and caring to look after the children during the week. The Family require a 6.30am start and the role will finish at 7pm in the evening. The Nanny will have 2-3 hours off during the day when the children are at school. She'll need to complete nursery duties and a few PA duties during the day but mostly free time. The Family include 2 nights of babysitting per week in the contract, which sometimes (but rarely) includes weekends. The hours in the school holiday are full time and the Nanny will have the kids during term/ summer breaks. The Family have two very friendly whippets who the nanny will walk most mornings on Hampstead Heath. Liking dogs is a requirement for the Nanny. The Family have a cleaner who comes in two days per week, and she is also there to help with child-care duties if the Nanny needs to drop off a child at sports practise, after-school club etc. This is a sporty, active Family. The kids love cycling and being outdoors. The kids are involved in lots of different activities including sports, arts and crafts, and playing music and enjoy each others’ company, they are always looking out for their older brother. Auto driver important but not essential. £29,000 gross per year plus discretionary annual bonus, and opportunities for overtime pay on agreement with the Nanny. Live-in accommodation: bedroom and Nannies own bathroom and roof terrace on the top floor of the house, separate to the rest of the Family.Job tags
