Job description

TRAINEE or ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR required to fit into a small commercial team based in Northampton working on a mixture of civil engineering projects. GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR CAREER DEVELOPEMENT.

The Opportunity:
Working in a small team and closely with the Commercial Manager and MD you will be responsible for project quantity surveying (as you learn an develop) and reporting in commercial and pricing information to the team. Fast career progression available.

Measurement and costing of materials
Some Estimating of costs
Subcontractor procurement and communication
Some cost value reconciling
Some negotiation with clients
Assisting the Commercial Manager

Types of work:
Civil Engineering and groundworks infrastructure projects valued between £250,000 and £5million located throughout Northamptonshire

Educational Requirements:
Degree qualified or HNC/HND Quantity Surveying

Rewards:
£25,000 - £35,000 + package dependant on experience and education
