Job description: Synchronised Solution is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to work in a very well-equipped clinic in Chester-Le-Street, County Durham. There is a great team of Vets, Nurses and Receptionist offering an exceptional service to a strong client base The practice offers a full range of veterinary services and is equipped with state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, physiotherapy laser, and in house haematology and biochemistry machines as well as access to CT Imaging, Endoscopy and MRI. The practice also offers dedicated wards, a large waiting room and a euthanasia room.
Candidate should have at least 3 years small animal practice experience. You should be able to work in a busy environment and sole charge when required.
There are excellent long term prospects for the right candidate, with career development and specialism actively encouraged. You must have a strong client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.
The successful candidate will work 4 days, 39 hours a week. The shift pattern includes 1:6 weekends.
Location details: The practice is located right in the city centre. Chester is a quiet and charming market town surrounded by rugged countryside. Chester-le-Street’s charm has not gone unnoticed. In 2016, The Sunday Times listed it as one of the best places to live in the north of England.
Salary and benefits: This is a 4 day week role and you will have to work 1 in 6 weekends. There is on offer a very competitive package up to £50000 per year including permanent yearly accommodation allowance.
