Join this esteemed law firm's in-house Global Procurement function as a Procurement Specialist for IT in London. As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and influencing strategic and commercial decisions concerning IT categories/projects.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing & executing procurement projects; contributing to strategic & commercial decisions related to various categories/projects.
- Engaging in Stakeholder and Supplier Management throughout the procurement and service delivery phases.
- Taking ownership of categories / individual projects when necessary.
- Assessing contracts and understanding key risks for different goods / services.
- Ensuring compliance with sourcing and contract management processes and professional ethics.
- Conducting supplier performance reviews and fostering continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with service areas/functions to manage performance and relationships with suppliers.

Experience Needed:
- Demonstrated specialist experience within Indirect Procurement, with the ability to navigate multiple sub-categories within Technology such as Software, Telecoms, and IT Professional Services.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement and supplier management, with a notable track record in procurement delivery including RFx, market analysis, supplier management, and oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong influencing abilities and the capacity to build enduring working relationships.
- Proven experience utilizing and managing procurement systems and tools, coupled with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret information effectively.
- A CIPS qualification or progress towards qualification is desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
