We are recruiting for a new Quality Improvement Manager to join us full time, initially on a 12 month contract. Although you will be based at home, there is requirement to travel around England, Wales and Northern Ireland on occasion.
As part of a vibrant and inclusive Quality Directorate at Mencap, you will support the organisation to oversee and support delivery of defined quality improvements across the organisation. Our Quality Action Plan includes the necessary performance & quality improvements to help Mencap offer the best support to people and in accordance with its statutory and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Quality the role will be responsible for providing high
quality oversight and assurance on the delivery of the Quality Improvement Action Plan. You will ensure that the necessary tracking, support and oversight activities are undertaken to provide confidence that the improvements are being made in alignment with the agreed timescales and are delivering the agreed outcomes and benefits. The role will involve collating and analysing information across the organisation; producing Executive-level reports and providing insights for governance boards, as well as for other internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who:
has experience of working in project and/or PMO environments, including Continuous or Quality Improvement
is a great communicator and influencer and enjoys working with all stakeholders up to and including exec level
is experienced in apply quality improvement methodologies, for example Lean, PDCA, Six Sigma etc to support successful continuous improvement
is knowledgeable of our regulatory environment
