Job description
The British International School of Jeddah (BISJ), is seeking to recruit a Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join the Primary Section in August 2024. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about and have a history of implementing, evidence-based practices, intervention strategies and developing the skills of learners with mild learning difficulties.
The role centres on coordinating the work of a small, dedicated group of Support Teachers, ESL Specialists and TAs and consulting with the wider Student Support Team, Class Teachers, parents, and external services.
An openness to Learning to Learn principles is essential as is a willingness to contribute to the wider life and growth of a busy, happy, and forward-looking school.
