Primary Teacher - Key Stage 2 (Year 3)

Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team and teach Year 3 students. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and creative lessons, inspire a love of learning, and support students in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are differentiated to meet the diverse needs of students in Year 3.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning and student engagement throughout Key Stage 2.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set clear learning objectives aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all Year 3 students feel valued and supported.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum delivery and enrichment activities for Key Stage 2.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers of Year 3 students, providing regular updates on progress and achievements.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 3 or a similar age group.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies for Year 3 students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents throughout Key Stage 2.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of high expectations, inclusivity, and continuous improvement in Year 3 and across Key Stage 2.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced school environment.
