Job description

Morestarts are proud to be working with a well established engineering client in Chesterfield who manufacture commercial bodies.

Due to an increase in workload, they require a time-served/skilled Auto Electrician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out auto-electrical installations to customer specific requirements.
• Installing relays and working on in-cab connections.
• Working with both 24volt and CAN Bus systems.
• Working to wiring diagrams.
• Commissioning of new lorry loaders.
• Occasional fault finding and diagnosis.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience on HGV’s is preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
  

Salary and Shifts:

• Monday to Friday and is a permanent position
• 45 hours per week
• £15-16ph (doe) / £35k-£40k pa.
• Plenty of overtime available at x1/3 rate.
