Job description
Leading PLC group are looking to hire an Interim Group Accounting Manager asap for a 6 month interim period, reporting to the finance leadership. The expectation is that the role could be delivered mainly remotely, with a day a week spent working from their London Corporate HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of group consolidated financials under IFRS
- Support delivery of group disclosures, working closely with internal and external parties
- Technical accounting guidance; eg. impairment and pension reviews
- Oversee team coordination of monthly group consolidated reporting process
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, gained in a similar head office group finance role
- Background to include having supported other international PLC listed business
- Self-starter with strong communication skills
