Sheridan Maine is working closely with a leading and growing business based in Poole to secure a part qualified Finance Manager. As Finance Manager, you will oversee a small finance team, managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting against the budget, as well as handling risk and cash flow. The successful candidate will be highly analytical and commercially minded.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Deliver accurate management reporting to support the decision making processes.
- Supervise day-to-day finance operations and lead a small Finance team.
- Handle monthly payroll.
- Generate financial statements including P&L, cashflow, variance analysis and commentaries.
- Ensure tax compliance globally and complete all tax returns as required.
- Review and enhance accounting processes for improved efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow effectively.
The successful Finance Manager will possess the following experiences and skills: - Part qualified in accounting (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
- Proven experience working in a similar role.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong prioritisation skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- In-depth understanding of management accounts reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis.
