Position Overview:
Lead technical role for the deployment and management of IT Infrastructure for Saab UK. The role will include design and operation of UK IT infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, IT security and applications across the UK in both on-premise and cloud-based environments. The role will be a key contributor to the IT strategy for the UK business as it expands into a new IT campus and supports the growth of the UK market.
Key Responsibilities:
Design of secure IT Infrastructure solutions for the Saab UK Business
Operation of IT infrastructure hosting at the UK datacentre and locations across the UK
Development and operation of a secure cloud environment for the UK Business
Liaison with the group IT function to ensure compliance with group standards
Develop and maintain a roadmap for IT hosting solutions for the UK
Ensure IT systems comply with group IT security standards
Response to IT Incidents, problem and change requests
Working closely with UK and group business areas to develop IT Infrastructure solutions
Support rollout of group IT projects and programmes in the UK when required
Key contributor to UK IT Strategy
Required Skills:
Experience of working in secure environments
At least 4 years’ experience in IT design and operation of IT infrastructure in a large enterprise
Knowledge of Cloud technologies preferably Azure
Key network knowledge and skills
Working with business and technical teams to deliver change
Demonstrated ability to identify risk associated with IT operations, business process , IT security and project/program delivery
