Job description
An “Outstanding”-rated SEN school in Hammersmith and Fulham is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) . You will be working with primary-aged pupils who have autism (ASD) and associated communication needs (SLCN) . Those with experience using Makaton and/or PECS is desirable, but not essential as regular training is provided. This school is very well resourced and equipped to support the school team to offer the best support to the pupils. The SLT invest greatly into wellbeing and development opportunities for all staff members.
Position details:
· Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to start ASAP
· Long-term, full-time OR daily supply positions available
· Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have:
· At least 3 months’ experience supporting special and additional needs, especially autism (ASD) and associated communication needs (SLCN)
· Ideally some experience using Makaton and/or PECS
· A creative approach and a willingness to learn
