Job description
Key Job Responsibilities The post holder will have key working relationships with various members of the clinical teams. The post holder will provide high quality data collection and reporting of all NHS BMTs and CAR-T cell treatment that is undertaken at OUH. The post holder will be expected to manage the collection of data, reporting and auditing of all BMT and ACTs at OUH, ensuring all data time points are met. Ensure any data entry into hospital systems complies with the Trusts data protection, confidentiality and disclosure policy and is entered accurately, completely and in time Check consent has been taken appropriately from patients for their data to be collected and utilised Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of all BMT and ACTs that are performed at OUH Maintain databases and systems that monitor the departments compliance against JACIE standards, escalating problems identified as appropriate. Manage the reporting of all BMT activity to European Bone Marrow Transplant (EBMT) board and The British Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BSBMT) in accordance with JACIE guidelines. This activity must be accurate and completed in a timely manner. Collection of historical and prospective patient-related and treatment-related data before, during and after BMT/ACT. This will require examination of patient records, hospital computer systems as well as liaison with referring hospitals and general practitioners Assists in the introduction, adaptation, development and maintenance of current databases Provide a focal point for information requests and queries within the department Develop local procedures for collection and validation of information Undertake and manage regular data validation and audits Analyse complex data and present findings to relevant groups via reports and audits Deal with data queries in a timely and efficient manner **For more detail please see full Job Description**
