Senior/Lead Motion Designer
Location: London

Reports to: Head of Art

Job Description
This role is for a Snr Motion Designer, to lead a wide range of motion projects within a busy advertising agency. 

We are looking for an elite AfterEffects operator but this is not a role where you simply bring others ideas to life - you will be looked at to concept, to improve others ideas, to nurture more junior Designers with more basic AE skills - to bring the magic. 

You will be creating work fro scratch, working within existing guidelines, developing projects for digital, social, DOOH output, agency presentations, and more and working across the entire agency portfolio of clients. Clients in autos, FMCG, energy, beverages, charity and much more. 

Must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to confidently execute a range styles with a discerning eye for design, layout, typography.

As clients will often be in the department, and projects are worked on collaboratively, the applicant must have confidence to communicate with tact and diplomacy, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Attend new briefings and weekly production meetings.
• Designing and executing broadcast, digital, DOOH from initial briefing stage to delivery.
• Complete fast turnaround projects on time, whilst ensuring quality.
• Provide project timing estimates
• Collaborate with Account Management and Creative Teams within the agency.
• Good with recording hours and a solid understanding of video workflows.
• Familiar with agency turn-around times and ways of working - good understanding of the dynamics of agency processes and works well within these parameters
• Develop departmental relationships and be a strong communicator

Experience

• 5+ years in agency.
• Expert understanding of the Adobe CC suite video apps and basic working knowledge of C4D
• Knowledge industry standard workflows.
• Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Client facing
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
