Assembly Fitting Operative

A vacancy has arisen for an Assembly Fitting Operative for our client near Uxbridge, Middlesex.

Package for Assembly Fitting Operative:
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 17:00
Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00

Salary: £25,000 to £29,700/yr
Permanent, full time position

Areas of Responsibility of an Assembly Fitting Operative:
The purpose of the role is to undertake a variety of assembly and inspection operations to produce and test cables, pipes, high pressure hoses and gun components as part of seat assembly.

Specific / Technical Skill for the Assembly Fitting Operative:

-Read engineering drawings
-Skills in inspection and checking components
-Assembly background
-Use of basic hand tools
-Basic understanding of measuring equipment

Knowledge & Experience required for an Assembly Fitting Operative
-Manufacturing/engineering background
-Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and their related ADR's.
-Background in H&S policies and procedures / QAI's and COSHH regulations.
