Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Property Department. A newly created assistant post has been added to our existing Planned & Cyclical Maintenance team. This will help us continue to meet our service and performance objectives, in relation to planned and cyclical maintenance programmes, service contracts and Stage 3 adaptations. The Planned & Cyclical Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to team members in carrying out their functions. This role will play a key part in providing an effective, efficient and responsive service to the Association’s customers. This includes existing tenants, former tenants, potential tenants and owner occupiers. Candidates will be educated to a minimum Higher standard (or equivalent) with at least Higher English (or equivalent). They will have previous experience co-ordinating technical activity including liaison with colleagues, tenants and contractors. They will have a basic knowledge of building construction and terminology and be able to demonstrate high levels of customer awareness. Previous experience within the sector would be preferred. The right candidate for this role will have, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Also, excellent administration skills with a focus on attention to detail. Strong IT skills including using spreadsheets, databases and Microsoft packages, is required. A current driving licence and access to a car with business insurance is essential for this post.
