Job description

Axcis Education is looking for a teacher who has experience supporting and teaching special needs children. A high school in Bexley is looking for an experienced SEND teacher. This is a full-time and candidates should be able to support a class with special needs students. This role is paid-to-scale, and has the opportunity of going permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver stimulating and inclusive lessons for students with SEND.
• Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure that the curriculum is accessible to all.
• Offer continuous assessment and feedback to track students' progress and personal growth.
• Collaborate with other members of staff to support the students’ needs.

Requirements:

• A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching SEND students.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service.

Axcis is currently looking for a SEND Teacher with experience supporting SEND students. Candidates will need to have an enhanced DBS, a QTS, and right-to-work documents. Candidates will need to be registered with Axcis to apply for this role. They will need to have booked an interview and have valid documents to apply.
