U&A and Third Party ManagerLocation - BirminghamProject - HS2Salary - up to £65,000 per annum plus additional benefitsThe U&A and Third Party Manager will play a key role in ensuring that all relevant commitments and obligations are complied with to achieve the projects objective’s and that the Commitment Compliance Plan is managed in line with HS2 expectation. The role will also support the Consents, U&As and Third Parties Lead, the wider project in managing relationships with key stakeholders and in achieving the Undertakings & Assurances / project commitments and project Key Performance Indicators.U&A and Third Party Manager key responsibilities: Lead on the identification and assessment of Undertakings & Assurances and subsequent negotiation of transfer of responsibilities from others.Lead on Third Party Agreements liaising with specialist interface managers where necessary to ensure consistency of approach.Maintain a comprehensive and up to date register of commitments, undertakings and assurances relating to area of responsibility is maintained at all times and oversee that these are complied with.Lead the production and management of the individual Commitment Compliance Plans (CCP)Liaise with Commitment owners and Package managers to agree individual CCPs and identify relevant package-level U&AsEnsure relevant Commitment Owners provide evidence of compliance in required formatLead on and advise on U&As, liaison with Consent Granting Bodies (CGB), engagement with stakeholders and assurance and compliance with U&ASupport the project level understanding of any relevant U&A requirements and develop mitigations that will inhibit any impacts on the construction programmeAssist the Planning Managers to incorporate the key U&A milestones into the programme. Contribute to and roll out ‘Good practice guide to…’ U&As and regularly socialise with colleaguesIdentify external assistance requirements where capacity limitations or specialist requirements require temporary support to ensure that consents are secured in a timely mannerManage general U&A enquiries and work with Sustainability & Environmental Team on any environmental requirements affecting the ProjectProvide regular and ad-hoc reports on U&A issues.Periodically update the U&A processes in project Quality Management System Ensure that the Stakeholder Record Management system is regularly updated and provides a clear summary of current discussions with external stakeholders.Develop and maintain the U&A key risks and issues log to be used to report to Senior Leadership Key competencies required: Knowledge of the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Act 2017Project Management skillsStrong data/database management skillsStrong influencing and negotiating skillsGood written skillsGood communications skillsStrong administration and IT SkillsGood knowledge of community issues and local areaGood experience in Project Management and Stakeholder ManagementPast experience of major construction projectsRelevant degree or similar qualificationProject management qualification If this role is of interest to you than please apply now.
