We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Maths, with the energy, passion and creativity to teach in the Secondary phase of our thriving All-Through school. This is an opportunity for a full-time position, for a September 2024 start.

Whilst this is a Secondary post, there is something extremely unique and special about working in an All-Through environment; the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work creatively with colleagues from both phases helping to develop a cohesive and truly progressive educational experience for all learners.
CFS follows national pay scales; this role would be equally suitable for an early career teacher or more experienced teacher. TLR opportunities will be discussed with suitable candidates.
The Team
Our highly qualified and successful Maths department consists of a seven strong team and strong leadership from both a Head of Department and 2i/c, who also work closely with the Subject Lead of Maths in the Primary phase. With dedicated classrooms for the subject in the heart of the school, Maths is at the core of our curriculum and is given extensive curriculum time to ensure ambitious and successful delivery.
Pupils are entered for AQA Mathematics GCSE. Our more able pupils have the opportunity to complete additional GCSEs in Statistics and Further Maths, giving teachers at CFS a unique chance to teach these courses and widen their skill set.
The Role
The person appointed to this post will be expected to teach mathematics to all abilities in Years 7-11. They will also be expected to take a proactive role in the extra-curricular life of the school.
