Job description
Could you play a vital role in continuing and developing the Waterside Women's Centre? We need a great candidate who has the vision and capacity to be part of a great team. Improving and providing the services and support needed by women and children.
We are recruiting for a permanent position for a Centre Co-ordinator. This role is a job-share for 17.5 hours per week. A lead role, delivering a range of services, securing funding and supporting women of all ages.
A lead role at the Waterside Women's Centre an organisation in it's thirtieth year and determined to continue growing. This job-share position works with the Management Committee and dedicated staff team to deliver the services offered including educational and vocational courses, supporting women of all ages in activities by securing funding to operate and deliver services.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Centre. You will have experience leading a team, delivering the strategic aims of the Centre, working with funders to continue to provide courses and opportunities for women and children using the Centre. We have an on-site creche which supports the programmes we offer by providing childcare for our activities and the women participating in them.
