We are currently seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our client in Surrey and take on a leadership role while providing exceptional care to clients and patients.
The practice, located in a charming town in Surrey, boasts a fantastic environment with numerous parks, playgrounds, and green spaces. The vibrant high street adds to the appeal of this ideal location for both work and living. As a busy veterinary practice, they are situated in a leafy commuter town with easy access to local businesses, amenities, and excellent transport links.
They are lucky enough to have a dedicated active list of clients who have been with the practice since it first opened 7 years ago. You will be joining a lovely, friendly team, with extremely capable nurses, and a wealth of experience and skills from their vet and nursing team. The caseload is varied, and they specialise in laparoscopic spays and laparoscopic biopsies.
Equipped with modern facilities such as ECG, Laser Treatment, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, X-Rays, Dentistry, and Keyhole Surgery, our client is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of clinical care. In this role, you will not only contribute to the clinical aspect but also provide direction and leadership to ensure the practice meets performance measures.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. A client-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain high medical and surgical standards are essential. Our client is looking for a candidate with the drive and ambition to contribute to the further development of the practice. The ability to work confidently in clinical examination and surgery, both independently and as part of a collaborative team, is crucial.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 40 hour week
• 4 working day week
