Seeking a Dedicated SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Canterbury!

As a SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the individual needs of students with SEND in a classroom setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-on-one support to students with SEND, assisting them with their learning and personal development.
Implementing personalized learning plans and adapting teaching strategies to suit the unique needs of each student.
Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and respected.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the appropriate support and accommodations.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEND preferred, but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Relevant qualifications (eg , CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools) desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
