Job description
Receive, assist and direct patients in person or via phone in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently handled. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. Job responsibilities: Reception Process appointment requests from patients by telephone and in person. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone Deal with home visit requests ensuring they are entered on computer with the patient records Administration To assist with all practice based reception admin tasks as directed To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures. To work in accordance with practice policies/protocols and processes Any other tasks allocated by managers Other Tasks Clear and stock rooms after surgeries Any other tasks allocated by managers
