International Fire Training Centre

35 hours a week, Part Time, Permanent
£10.42 an hour
Serco have an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Residential Services Assistant based at the International Fire Training Centre in Darlington.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure cleanliness and servicing is maintained to a high standard in the following areas: Tech Block and Fire ground, Accommodation, Technology House, whilst working in line with the policies and procedures in place.
Main Accountabilities:
- All aspects of cleaning of the fire ground classrooms
- All aspects of cleaning in tech block including shower areas, toilets, communal areas, and classroom
- All aspects of cleaning in communal areas of the fire ground including toilets, rest rooms, offices.
- Replenish all drink areas in Fire ground & tech block tea rooms
- Replenish any welcome documents/brochures in bedrooms and main areas
- All aspects of cleaning in communal areas such as front of house, toilets, corridors, bar, conference room, gym, laundry rooms, classrooms etc.
- All aspects of cleaning in Technology House, Accommodation, and their associated areas
- All aspects of cleaning for the daily servicing of the bedrooms
- All aspects of cleaning for departure turn arounds
- Managing and handling chemicals in line with COSHH
- Ensuring all equipment is used and stored correctly and that any items broken are reported
- Ensuring work sheets are completed
