Alliance Commercial Manager

 

 

Salary & Benefits(3a/b): £65,000 - £75,000 + company car scheme or car allowance + private healthcare + up to 10% pension with 5% contribution + annual bonus + retail savings schemes + online GP access + life assurance cover + free on-site parking + 25 days holiday + 1 wellbeing day + bank holidays

 

 

Location: Buttershaw, Bradford, hybrid working 2 days in the office per week

 

 

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday

 

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Alliance Commercial Manager to join the Programme Delivery Commercial Team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Our team is responsible for sourcing and managing all of our contracted supplier relationships and supplier performance. This includes procurement, contract management, commercial assurance and accounts payable. The Programme Delivery Commercial team form an internal partnership to support the delivery of the capital programme, providing contract management and commercial support.

 

The AMP8 Storm Overflow Alliance is a true Alliance focussed on delivering value through engaging in and developing a high performing Enterprise. If successful this will enable Yorkshire Water to expand its Alliance portfolio.

 

 

Purpose of the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to form and lead a commercial management and assurance team for the AMP8 Storm Overflow Alliance. The team will be focused on commercial management of the NEC4 Alliance Contract for Yorkshire Water’s Capital Programme. This role will also be expected to input to the Alliance Board on key decisions and support the Alliance Manager in administration of the Alliance Contract.

We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of two days in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
