Job description
Our client, a successful engineering company with an enviable reputation are looking to recruit an Administrator to join them on a temp to perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a reputation for first class service to their customers and employees.
The Role:
The main duties and responsibilities for this Administrator role will include:
Answer incoming telephone calls and route to relevant departments
Take and relay messages and provide information to callers
Log and distribute all incoming orders/enquiries to sales or processing team
Use scanners to convert documents into electronic format
Scan and e-mail orders to suppliers
Customer invoicing
Expedite internal and customer orders
Provide additional administration support to the customer service team
Complete additional tasks in order to meet departmental needs, development or change objectives
All associated administration duties as required
The Successful candidate
The successful candidate for this Administrator role will possess:
Previous experience within a similar administrative role
Strong administrative and organisation skills
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Resilience to work under pressure
Working knowledge of MS Office packages is essential
Be able to work with limited supervision whilst managing own workload and priorities
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Share ideas and information
Takes pride in the achievement of objectives
Self-motivated – driven to achieve results
High customer service ethic – is passionate about customer’s requirements
In return, this role is offered on a temp to perm basis with an immediate start.
Working full time hours, the working hours for this position are 37 – 39 hours per week.

Salary: £11.50 per hour
