**Job Overview:**
Our Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of elevators. As a Lift Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of vertical transportation systems, contributing to the overall functionality and reliability of buildings and structures.

**Responsibilities:**

**Maintenance and Inspection:** Perform routine maintenance checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks on existing lift systems. Identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.

**Repairs and Upgrades:** Diagnose and repair malfunctioning elevators and escalators promptly. Recommend and implement upgrades or replacements of components to enhance system efficiency.

**Emergency Response:** Respond to emergency service calls promptly, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of passengers.

**Customer Interaction:** Interact with clients, building managers, and occupants to address inquiries, provide technical support, and offer guidance on lift usage and maintenance best practices.

**Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including inspection reports, service logs, and repair documentation. Provide detailed reports to clients and management as required.

**Compliance:** Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and codes during all service and maintenance activities.

**Training and Development:** Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and safety protocols. Provide training to other team members and clients on lift system operation and maintenance.

**Requirements:**
**Education:** NVQ 3 in Lift Servicing and Maintenance/ J MODULES equivalent

**Experience:** Proven experience as a Lift Service Engineer with a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and escalators.

**Technical Skills:** Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing elevator control systems, motors, and other components. Familiarity with a variety of lift manufacturers and models.

**Communication Skills:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals and collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

**Safety Consciousness:** Commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

**Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

**Availability:** Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls as needed.
