Job description

We are recruiting for and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join a well established Broker.


Initially as an Account Executive but progressing into a Director role - you will manage the collection and processing of premiums, analyse clients’ needs and will develop solutions and take the time to understand client’s needs and identify and present the most competitive packages, whilst explaining the merits of one policy or provider over another to give robust and competitive insurance on which to rely.


In addition, you will providing risk advice, risk management and risk prevention information for customers, in partnership with underwriters and will generate enquiries by proactively selling, including sales visits, making outbound calls and organising mailshots.


Based in Henley the role will also involve travelling to clients, insurers or other premises which in some instances may be completed outside of normal office hours; there is also the option of occasional working from home.
As an Account Executive you’ll have extensive knowledge of the Commercial Lines insurance industry experience with ideally a Dip CII, or be working towards this or happy to obtain it in the future.


You must be confident with relevant IT systems, and be able to hit the ground running.




Excellent interpersonal skills are also essential.
ALL candidates must currently be working in a UK based Commercial Insurance Sales, New Business Broking role.
