Structural Engineer
£40k-£60k Near Brighton This personable small structural design consultancy situated near Brighton are looking to hire a Structural Engineer to join their friendly team. The role would suit an ambitious candidate keen for career progression. You must have a minimum of 4 years of buildings design experience and ideally be Chartered or nearing this status. This Consultancy offer a great bonus scheme, pension, friendly working environment, excellent training for Chartership, and a competitive salary. They work on a number of projects from small private clients for domestic projects to large commercial projects and like to offer a tailored service to each project. The ideal candidate required should have a high level degree in a relevant subject, have some years working for design consultancy in the UK, and have excellent communication skills. The Office is less than a ten minute walk from the train station, but a car driver is preferred for attendance at meetings/site visits. Their portfolio holds a diverse range of Clients and provides a broad scope of services which includes Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering and general surveying services for Loss Adjusters, property managers, etc. A speciality of the constancy is that they offer structural reports on building defects and Contract Administration services as well. You should have a solid working knowledge of British Standards and Codes of Practice. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required and a knowledge of REVIT will be an advantage, but not essential. You should be a good communicator, both written and verbal.
