Studio Assistant

Job description

We are looking for a new Studio Assistant to start ASAP.  We are especially interested in someone with high attention and knowledge of pattern-cutting and sewing.

VACLAV is a contemporary, bold, inspirational and sustainable London-based brand established in 2020 by Czech-born designer and creative director Lucie Vaclav.  The inspiration comes from the vibes of London and the designer's life in the city. Lucie loves working with silk, sequins, tulle and vinyl.  A considerable part of each collection is created using upcycled, high-quality materials.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the creation of in-house samples and custom projects
• Assist with stock maintenance and orders
• Help with research and mood board development
• Work with graphic programs - Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Help with daily errands 

Requirements:

• Advanced organisational skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of sewing and garment construction
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Passion and creativity that align with the aesthetic of VACLAV brand
• Able to work full-time from 12th - 23rd in SW4 London
