Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is a HR Generalist with ED&I experience working within a pleasurable, engaging and liberal public sector organisation. This role will be based in Cambridge shire offering Hybrid/agile working, However travel is essential to other sites across Cambridge shire you would require a Full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
Hybrid working Free parking HR Background - CIPD level 5 desirable not essential At least 2 years experience in a ED&I role Main Key Responsibilities 1. Research, develop, implement and evaluate plans, policies, procedures and schemes that promote equality, diversity & inclusion, and comply with all relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
2. Provide specialist professional advice on equality, diversity & inclusion matters across the Service, with regard to our statutory responsibilities and achieving excellence in both service delivery and employment.
3. Engage with colleagues throughout the Service, at every level, to provide support and advice in our work towards embedding a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion into all work areas.
4. Support the development and implementation of appropriate governance, monitoring, measurement and reporting arrangements to facilitate the effective scrutiny of progress in our equality, diversity and inclusion plans and ambitions.
5. Champion the use of effective and meaningful equality impact assessments, and co-ordinate the quality assurance and scrutiny of these.
6. Develop and maintain professional links with external organisations and networks, ensuring the Service is kept informed of changes to statutory provision and new initiatives and that good practice is shared with and learned from others.
