Key Responsibilities
Review and validate FEED and detailed designs for HVDC VSC offshore substations.
Provide technical expertise to project teams and oversee third-party manufacturing of HVDC equipment.
Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Utilise quality tools and processes to control project deliverables and meet requirements.
Troubleshoot complex issues using root cause analysis and 8D methodology.
Assess scheduling implications and communicate schedule drivers for HVDC VSC substations.
Qualifications and Requirements
Degree in HV systems engineering.
Proficiency in HVDC VSC Substation project tendering, design, procurement, and manufacturing.
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of HV supply chain delivery models and constraints.
Experience in HV equipment ratings, sizing, electrical network studies, and interaction analysis.
