National Sales & Marketing Manager
£55,000-£65,000 + package + Benefits

Our client Our client is a European market leader and the UK's largest provider of renewable energy from organic waste. With multiple UK sites, this dynamic, innovative, and forward-thinking organisation is now seeking a National Sales & Marketing Manager to be based at their South Yorkshire site.
The Role As National Sales & Marketing Manager your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:
- Manage the sales & marketing team ensuring all agreed targets and objectives are achieved.
- Preparing quotes in line with the agreed pricing strategy and re-negotiating terms where appropriate.
- Gathering and maintaining up-to-date market intelligence, monitoring competitor activity (services and prices), and reacting as required.
- Plan and implement a sales strategy in line with budgeted growth.
- Develop and maintain a potential pipeline of customers both regional and national.
- Identify business opportunities for suitable organic waste streams; liaise with the sales team to ensure opportunities are progressed.
- Analyse the sales team, performance to understand trends and growth opportunities.
- Ensure the application and sales approach are in line with the organisational brand.
Marketing, Public Relations & Technical Support
- Develop and promote the company's activities across the industry and customer base.
- Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising & promotional activities.
- Identify opportunities for sales campaigns.
- Identify & represent at trade events and seminars, showcasing the organisational brand and culture.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers.
The preference is that the successful role holder will be experienced in a commercial sales-led environment, within a B2B or other similar customer focused sector, with previous management experience. A working knowledge of the waste/recycling sector and the food production industry is preferrable. Most importantly the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and able to build strong working relationships.
